Location, location, location:

  • Book the perfect destination, taking into account, travel time, distance and budget.

Book a Wedding Planner:

  • Entrust your wedding in someone’s capable hands taking all the stress and burden off your shoulders.  They will advise you on Requirements to marry in the destination and plan your special day.

Do not waste time:

  • Destination weddings are so popular nowadays and you need to let your guests know ahead of time;
  • Save the Date postcards or boarding passes are fun;
  • Also save the date in a bottle.

Mind Mother Nature:

  • Don’t just assume weather is gorgeous year-round.  Check out when the hurricane seasons are in Caribbean, rainy season in Hawaii.  Europe can be uncomfortably hot in July and August.

Open a Registry at your Local Travel Agent and guests can contribute towards your honeymoon as another option to actual wedding gift.

  • Check with travel agent if there is any discount on group bookings.  Having all this information online makes it easier for your guests.

Create a Wedding Website with tips on:

  • Destination;
  • Accommodation suggestions;
  • Activities;
  • Info about Bridal Party and Gift Registry and Shower Dates.

Take care of Everyone:

  • Welcome Bags are very popular and can be assembled at destination and given out before Wedding day.  These can include: water bottles, flip flops, sun block, map, candies or something edible from the destination.

Carry wedding dress on the plane not packed away.

Do not suntan day before wedding – watch bathing suit straps if wearing a strapless dress.
